Rainbow Socks
Rainbow Socks
All it takes is the right pair of socks to spread a little sunshine as you go your way. This is one drawing in a series of illustrations in which I dealt with my winter blues by looking for rainbows in unexpected places. Inspired by Maya Angelou’s suggestion that we each strive to “be a rainbow in somebody else’s clouds”.
When it looks like the sun wasn’t going to shine anymore, God put a rainbow in the clouds. - lyrics from a 19th century African American spiritual
